Activities – On any given day, clients will be able to practice their spoken Chinese while enjoying the many markets, beaches, parks, and more. Buying apples from the local fruit stand is more fun if you have just learned how to say: “I want to buy 3 apples” in Chinese!

Day Trips – Within the planned schedule, groups will go out to various tourist spots on the island. The emphasis, as always, is on encouraging further use of spoken Chinese to support the daily studying. What type of things would be useful to say if you were going to the Butterfly Park?

Excursions – As China is such a big country, we must show you some other amazing places! One likely example is the city of Chengdu, in Sichuan Province. It is famous for spicy food and pandas. This will be a great chance to practice your new Chinese skills and travel to exciting new destinations. A little practice with using transportation throughout China, too.
